If you build it, they will come…

This morning was my first session after going live with my site! I got the call Thursday and we set up the shoot for this morning… and what a great session it was! It was still a little chilly outside so we started the shoot indoors. We opted for the white seamless backdrop for a clean look and had a few accessory / wardrobe changes. Once the sun warmed the grass a little, we ventured out for a walk through the nearby park.

So, this was for the little one’s one-year photos… I couldn’t help getting her older sister involved too, though! And, I can’t wait to shoot them again at the next milestone! What cuties!!!

You learn something new every day…

Even a solid stand and 30 lbs. of weights don’t hold a reflector still enough in breeze to be effective. I tried to supplement the natural light we were getting through the glass doors with a reflector outside and it proved to be absolutely futile. Nothing beats an assistant in cases like that… someday I’ll have one. In the meantime, I’m winging it!
